It's Playtime! We have a range of fun and engaging playgrounds available for Hume's 30,000 children. Take the family along and check them out!

Broadmeadows

Jack Roper Reserve, 217 Camp Road, Broadmeadows
Includes two playspaces, a flying fox, BBQ and public toilets.

Johnstone Street Reserve (Rotary Park) Playspace, 59 Johnstone Street, Broadmeadows
This playground includes; a wave bridge, fireman's pole, two different styles of slides, a see-saw, a double swing frame and a connecting footpath. The reserve features two BBQs, a large shelter and four picnic settings with seating, a Skate Park and a Flying Fox. The Flying Fox has a double cable system with one pommel seat and an Access for All chair. The take-off and landing area has been designed to allow wheelchair access for children and adults.  In addition,  a basketball and netball court is close by. (Melway Map 6 F8)

Highgate Recreation Reserve, Cleveland Drive, Craigieburn
This playspace includes state-of-the-art equipment and is designed not only for the kids, but for adults too. Try the slippery dip or flex some arm muscle on the monkey bars and climbing frame. The landscaping works include gravel and crushed rock paths, Kikuyu grass and a range of native and exotic plants to create a calming rustle in the Highlands breeze. (Map 386 J3)

Meadow Heights

Lightwood Crescent Reserve, 72 Lightwood Crescent, Meadow Heights
Includes a vertical ladder, net crossing, rock climber, hammock, curved slide,  spinner bowl, crazy rocker, space net, double swing frame and basketball tower. (Map 179 F10)

Visy Learning Centre, Hudson Circuit, Meadow Heights
The playspace is a multi-age, Access for All design allowing wheelchair access so all children can join in the fun. It includes a fort structure with slides, various activity panels, climbing wall, spinner barrel, rockers, climbing rope, tower swings. There's even a new soccer/basketball half court area for the older kids. The playspace is surrounded by new landscaping and grassed areas including new park furniture and fencing. (Map 179 H12)

Includes a colourful artwork panel, a hang 'n' glide, a climbing structure, a swing frame, and picnic table with shelter. (Map 382 D2)

Scullin Court Reserve, 15 Gowrie Court, Sunbury
Includes a cave bridge, a climber, suspension bridge, jungle bars, a gyro spinner, swing frame, park furniture and a basketball tower. (Map 362 D11)

McEwen Drive Reserve, 21 McEwen Drive, Sunbury
Includes a net climber, voice tubes, hanging rings, a see-saw, and a double swing frame. (Map 362 E12)

Apex Park, Sunbury Road, Sunbury
Playspace includes wooden structure with climbing wall, ladder, monkey bars, fireman's pole, curved slide, see-saw, swings, BBQ and shelter and walking trails. Public toilets are close by. (Map382 G5)

Lions Park (Sunbury Recreation Reserve), Riddell Road, Sunbury
An Access for All playspace that incorporates new materials and designs to encourage group play activities. Pathways through the park allow better entry and access by wheelchairs. Play equipment includes basket swing allowing up to three children to ride at once or a child and a carer. An inverted Super Nova spinning wheel allows great group play. The park has two shelters, picnic settings with seating and BBQs. Toilets are available over the bridge next to the Sunbury Leisure and Aquatic Centre approximately 80m away. (Map 382 D3)

Galaxy Land Jackson Park, 1-25 Betula Terrace, Sunbury
Large colourful playspace with three main areas for different ages. Galaxy Land has a public toilet, BBQ and picnic facilities, walking paths amongst pleasant formal gardens and natural wetlands. (Map 382 C8)

Bulla Hill Railway
Visit the miniature railway where adults & children can enjoy a ride for just $3 per person. 
There is a great children’s playground located right outside the gates in the public parkland area, a large free car park, toilet facilities and coin operated barbeques amidst 5 picnic shelters.
The railway operates the 1st & 3rd Sunday of every month 12 noon – 4pm.
