Playspaces provide wonderful opportunities for children to be physically active, interact with other children and learn skills such as cooperation, socialising and playing independently. Features include accessible swings and other play equipment, continuous pathways, accessible entries to playspaces and parking close by. Many of the playspaces have play equipment for a range of ages, and other recreation opportunities nearby such as ovals, basketball half courts, skate parks and public access tennis courts.

Airborn Indoor Trampoline Park

Children’ farms and horse riding

    Peppercorn Equestrian Centre has been teaching people to ride horses for over 25 years and during this time have taught hundreds of children and adults to ride. Animal Land Children’s Farm

This is great place for children to see animals of all shapes and sizes.

Meet Oscar the pig, milk Lucy the cow or ride Goldie the pony!  Nurse baby animals, collect eggs and take a tractor ride in the paddock.

Animal Land gives children the opportunity to have real hands on farming experience. They get to scratch, feel, smell and hear all the experiences of life on a farm. Living Legends at Woodlands Historial Park

Living Legends has been established to allow the public a view of retired champion horses. Rub shoulders with equine royalty such as Fields of Omagh and Might and Power. A great day out for the whole family, bring a picnic and explore historic Woodlands Homestead

Bulla Hill Railway

Visit the miniature railway where adults & children can enjoy a ride for just $3 per person. 

There is a great children’s playground located right outside the gates in the public parkland area, a large free car park, toilet facilities and coin operated barbeques amidst 5 picnic shelters.

The railway operates the 1st & 3rd Sunday of every month 12 noon – 4pm.
