Domestic Animal Management Plan

Council is currently developing a new four-year Domestic Animal Management Plan. The plan provides Council with a strategic approach towards:

  1. Promoting responsible pet and domestic animal ownership (e.g. dogs, cats, birds, rabbits)
  2. Ensuring the welfare of pets and domestic animals
  3. Protecting the needs of the broader community and environment.

Thank you to everyone who provided feedabck into the plan via email, phone, survey and face-to-face consultations.  The Plan will consider community feedback, while following the requirements of the Domestic Animals Act 1994.
