Draft Sports Pavilion Plan

Council is seeking community feedback on the draft 'Sports Pavilion Plan'.

The Draft Sports Pavilion Plan aims to develop standards of provision for Hume sports pavilion infrastructure and assesses existing pavilions and outlines a priority order for future sports pavilion upgrades. To achieve this, Council conducted an audit of Council buildings utilised for active sports, including football, soccer, cricket, rugby, softball, hockey, lacrosse, athletics, tennis and bowls.

The assessment audit of existing Hume sports pavilions and clubrooms against the following criteria:

  • Size
  • Condition
  • Age
  • Female and Family Friendly Design
  • Environmentally Sustainable Design and Accessibility
  • Utilisation

The Draft Sports Pavilion Plan identifies a 7 year program for the renewal, replacement, expansion and upgrade of Hume sports pavilions and clubrooms identified as high and medium priority.
