Hume 0-24 Framework

0-24 Years Strategic FrameworkHume City Council is working with the Hume community to develop a ten-year strategic framework for children and young people aged 0-24 and their families across Hume City.

The framework will provide guidance for the child, family and youth sectors in Hume to promote better outcomes for children from birth to 24 years and their families.

During June and July Council facilitated or attended over 30 workshops, events and popups across Hume where we spoke with over 1000 people. We heard from children, young people, family members and people who work with children, young people and families. Participants talked about their aspirations for children, young people and families in Hume, what is currently working and not working, and what can be improved or changed.

Over the next few months we will be reviewing all this information to develop the draft framework.
