John McMahon Reserve - Concept Design Feedback

In May 2018, we asked for your input on a future playspace, exercise area, paths and landscaping at Sunbury's John McMahon Reserve. Thank you to everyone who shared their ideas and gave feedback through the surveys, online and at the pop up sessions. Over 100 people shared their ideas and helped inform design concepts.

While the locations for these spaces had been previously determined, feedback received was considered in the development of a concept plan, and can be found inside this flyer.

Participants were largely supportive of the spaces and noted they would like to see equipment suitable for a large range of abilities and ages.

The most commonly requested activities for the new playspace were:

•           swings                                     •      balancing items

•           climbing items                         •      slides

Participants were also enthusiastic about the exercise equipment and walking paths proposed for the reserve.
