Ripplebrook Reserve (Broadmeadows) Concept Plan

In December 2017, Council invited feedback from the community on their ideas for improvements to Ripplebrook Reserve, Broadmeadows.

Thank you to the more than 40 people who shared their ideas and gave feedback through the surveys, online and at the pop up sessions.

The improvements that were most important to participants were:

  • Shady trees
  • New park furniture
  • Landscaping
  • Enhanced playspace.

A large proportion of respondents support the proposed construction of a basketball court while half of respondents thought they would use the basketball court if there were lines and goals for soccer or netball. Those that did not support the construction of the basketball court were concerned about the location of the court.
