Sunbury 175 Cricketers' Busts, 2011



Created in commemoration of the 175th anniversary of the founding of contemporary Sunbury. Referred to as the “Birthplace of the Ashes”, the works pay tribute to four of Australia's most heralded test cricketers in a series of portrait busts created at the Tom Bass Sculpture Studio School in November 2011.

Made by Macedonia House Lancefield, unveiled on 15/8/1986 to commemorate one of Sunbury's earliest European settlers.

Located in front of the Sunbury Library, 36 Macedon St, Sunbury.

Old Sunbury Council Chamber Wall Frieze, 1986 


Presented to the Community of Sunbury by the National Australia Bank to commemorate the150th anniversary of the first European settlement of Sunbury - also includes the stars of the Southern Cross (pictured).

Located in the Foyer of the old Sunbury Council Chamber, 36 Macedon St, Sunbury.
