Civic Heart

Ten students and two staff from RMIT worked over a four week period on individual projects that responded to aspects of The Broadmeadows Town Hall. These 'site-responses' focused on the physicality of the Hall itself, elements of it's history as well as the deeper history of its location, and what the Hall has meant to local community over its life.

These artworks were presented as a series of site-specific installations for one night only, coinciding with the 2015 Hume Arts Awards presentation event on 10 June 2015.
