Australia Day Awards

Hume City is a great place to live and one of the reasons for this is the sense of community and the number of people who willingly contribute to make our community better.

On Australia Day Hume residents come together to recognise the many people who have enriched our community and inspired others through outstanding contributions and commitment over the past 12 months. We also welcome new citizens to our city at a Citizenship Ceremony held following the presentation of the awards.

Hume City Council has a proud tradition of publicly recognising outstanding contributions through the presentation of the Australia Day Awards.
