Sports Aid Grants
Council recognises the personal and financial sacrifices involved in participating in sport at an elite level. Funds are allocated each year to assist local athletes in the pursuit of their dreams on the sporting field. The aim of the Sports Aid Grants is to assist individual participants with competitive expenses and to encourage achievement and excellence in sport.
Who can apply for a Sports Aid Grant?
Applicants must be Hume residents under the age of 21 years of age and competing in a Sport that is recognised by the Australian Sports Commission.
Applying for a Sports Aid Grant
An application is required to be submitted. Athletes are encouraged to read the Sports Aid Grant Program Application Guidelines to check for eligibility before applying. As a part of the application process, you must give consent to Hume City Council using your photograph for promotional purposes.
