We are moving Carols by Candlelight to Sunday 8 December due to forecasted wet weather conditions.
In the first instalment of #HumeStories, we sat down with Hume City local, Satinder Chawla, and had a chat about his experience living in Hume.
During his time living in the suburb of Craigieburn, Satinder has embarked on many community initiatives. Serving as a multicultural ambassador to several organisations, including the AFL, engaging in charity work, and founding the Landmark Community Sports Club was not enough for Satinder.
Telling us that he is "always for the community because the community has given [him] so much", Satinder utilised his acting and filmmaking skills to produce a wide range of community health messages, including COVID-19 safety measures and the importance of environmental care.
Have a watch below and hear what this passionate Hume local had to say about the community he calls family.
