We're building the Mickleham South Community Centre to provide a local space for the community to receive services and to get together.

This community centre will provide a permanent space to house a broad range of services for the growing community in Mickleham.

What we're doing

From 2023, the Mickleham South Community Centre will offer:

  • consulting rooms for maternal and child health services and specialist services

  • flexible multipurpose community and activity meeting spaces

  • preschool and learning spaces

  • customer service/reception areas

  • administration/staff facilities and associated ancillary facilities.

Why we're doing it

Mickleham is one of the fastest growing communities in Australia so we're providing a facility that will house the services needed for this community to thrive.

When will it be completed?

Construction is due to be completed in mid-August 2023.

Partnerships

This project is being delivered by Hume City Council in partnership with the Victorian Government.
