We are completing the second stage of the Hume Hockey and Lacrosse Centre in Craigieburn with the addition of a second pitch and extended pavilion.

What we're doing

We're planning the construction of a second pitch that will feature:

  • 1 x Full-sized Synthetic Hockey Pitch
  • 6-pole LED Sports Lighting System
  • Players & Officials Benches
  • Chain mesh Fencing (around pitch)
  • Safety Fencing (behind goals)
  • Goal storage areas

We will also extend the existing pavilion at the northern end of the existing pavilion, featuring:

  • Changerooms including amenities
  • Kitchen/kiosk area
  • Social room area
  • Umpire change rooms
  • Office space
  • Internal and external storage

Why we're doing it

The significant growth in hockey participation since the activation of the Hume Hockey and Lacrosse Centre has seen the establishment of 3 hockey clubs, the construction of the second hockey pitch and associated amenity at the site is crucial to meeting the growing demand for the sport.
