The Sunbury Resource Recovery Centre is partial closed due to high winds. The site is only allowing hand unloading for rubble, concrete and green waste.
Some of our services will be changed from Good Friday 3 April to Easter Monday 6 April.
We've built the Kalkallo North Community Centre to provide a local space for the community to receive services and meet.
This community centre provides a permanent space to house a broad range of services for the growing community in Kalkallo.
Landscaping works will commence in August 2024 to deliver open space which will complement the newly built centre and allow users to extend activities outdoors in a safe and secure environment.

Kalkallo is a young and growing community - one of the fastest growing in Australia - so we're providing a facility that will house the services needed for this community to thrive.
Practical construction of the centre was completed in January 2024 and the centre is now open and operational.
Works on the landscaped open space will commence in August 2024 and are scheduled to be completed by 28 February 2025.
This project is being delivered by Hume City Council in partnership with the Victorian Government.
