We've created a space for our community to get active outdoors and involved in sport locally.

What we did

We built the Bridges Recreation Reserve to provide an exciting new sporting opportunity for women and men in the Craigieburn community, as well as other spaces for everyone to enjoy.

This project included:

• 4 x rugby league pitches
• 8 x touch football fields
• Sports lighting
• Sports Pavilion
• Car parking
• Landscaping and pathways around the site
• Playspace
• Public amenities

When was it completed?

Construction of the sports pavilion was the final stage of the project, and was completed in late 2024. 

Partnerships

This project was delivered in partnership between Hume City Council, NRL, NRL Victoria, and Melbourne Storm.
