Protected industrial action may affect waste collections in Hume. Put your bin out as usual on your scheduled collection day. If your bin is not collected, please leave it out for a catch-up collection.
We know many people in our community may be experiencing financial hardship. To help manage your payments Council are offering a variety of payment arrangements to assist.
Please wait until you receive your notice before applying for a payment arrangement as you will need important information such as your property reference number and the total amount owing to submit your application.
You can apply for a weekly, fortnightly or monthly direct debit payment plan to spread the payment of your rates.
Set-up a plan
If you currently have a payment plan with us, but now need to make changes, you can apply for a new payment arrangement. The legislated penalty interest rate will apply to any outstanding balances as of 1 July.
