Financial hardship support

We know many people in our community may be experiencing financial hardship. To help manage your payments Council are offering a variety of payment arrangements to assist. 

Please wait until you receive your notice before applying for a payment arrangement as you will need important information such as your property reference number and the total amount owing to submit your application.

Your options

Step 1.Set-up a payment plan

You can apply for a weekly, fortnightly or monthly direct debit payment plan to spread the payment of your rates.

Step 2.Make changes to an existing payment plan

If you currently have a payment plan with us, but now need to make changes, you can apply for a new payment arrangement. The legislated penalty interest rate will apply to any outstanding balances as of 1 July.
