School Refusal (Secondary school aged children)

ParentZone, Anglicare will be delivering a skill building session for parents/carers around the topic of School Refusal for Secondary school aged children.

Expression of Interest

The first 12 people to register will be offered a spot in this session. Everyone else will be contacted to be offered an alternative online session or put on the waitlist for subsequent session if there is enough interest.

 ‘My child doesn’t want to go to school, what do I do?’

An ever-increasing issue for families, let’s get together to gain insights into: 

• Dealing with social anxiety
• Dealing with safety and anxiety
• Building resilience and self-esteem
• Dealing with feelings
• Parents dealing with their own anxiety about child school refusal
• Parenting from love and compassion vs from fear and worry
