Families in Sunbury will enjoy a new outdoor space and water play area including safer access, seating, water features and water play equipment.

What we're doing

We will replace the current outdoor toddler pool space to include a new water play area and outdoor space. The water play area will have a soft fall surface for children and will appeal to a wider age group of children. 

We have designed the new outdoor water play area using the selections from the community. The design process is complete and we anticipate that construction will start sometime in August 2024.

When will it be completed?

The project timeline is currently being updated. 

Partnership

State Government and Hume City Council are investing $3.8 million towards this redevelopment.
