CALD Outreach Support Program
The CALD Outreach Support Team works directly with families from Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) backgrounds to support inclusion and participation in early years services in Hume.
The team supports children and families to:
- Register and participate in three and/or four-year kindergarten programs
- Engage in other early years support services in Hume such as playgroups, immunisation, Maternal and Child Health Services, libraries and enrolling in childcare services
- Work with kindergartens, families, and schools to support children’s transition into school.
Families and service providers can contact the CALD Outreach Support team on 0477 177 537 to learn more about what the program offers. Bilingual staff are available to support families and interpreters are available if required. Flyers can be downloaded below in eight languages
