Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Course

This course is for young people aged 15-24 . Priority will be given to those who live in Hume, however, those who are connected to the City of Hume will still be considered.

Responsible Service of Alcohol is mandatory for licensees and hospitality staff who are in positions of offering, selling or serving liquor in any environment. Our RSA course provides the skills and knowledge required to work safely and confidently, providing both theoretical and practical training.

In our RSA course, you will learn how to:

• Understand your obligations under the law;
• Identify customers who may need to be refused service of alcohol;
• Responsibly assist customers to drink within appropriate limits; and
• Assist alcohol-affected customers.
