Hume City Council and Services Australia are working together to make it easier for you to get the help you need.

These free, one on one and confidential 30‑minute appointments are designed for residents who need support with government services.

This includes help with:

  • Information about accessing local/Hume community services and support
  • Online referrals
  • Centrelink – for example payments, concessions and entitlements
  • MyGov access (must have photo ID and personal email)
  • General service enquiries

If you would like help with community supports and services including My Aged Care, disability and mental health supports, please book in with the Hume Aged and Disability Services Officer.

If you would like help with Centrelink, Services Australia or My Gov please book in with the Services Australia Multicultural Services Officer

Who can book?

These sessions are ideal for residents who:

  • Prefer face‑to‑face support
  • Have difficulty navigating systems and being online
  • Are new to government services
  • Need help understanding entitlements or applications
  • Come from diverse backgrounds including those who identify as; Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander, LGBTIQA+ or are culturally diverse

What to bring?

  • Your MyGov login (also need photo ID and your personal email address)
  • Identification, if relevant
  • Forms and documentation
  • Any questions you might have
