What is provided as part of facility hire?

Furniture
Lightweight tables and chairs are provided for you to set up to best suit your bookings requirements. The tables are rectangular in shape and are 1.82m x 0.74m in size. For exact quantities please contact the bookings team.

Kitchen
The modest, yet tidy kitchen has everything you need to cater for your booking, including a servery window into the hall.

Equipment available includes an electric oven and cooktop, single door fridge, microwave, pie warmer and an instant hot water tap.

Please note: Kitchen facilities are available for reheating purposes only. Cooking from raw ingredients is not permitted at this location.

Heating/Cooling
Wall bank heaters and two split systems keep this facility comfortable all year round. 

Is there parking available?

The Craigieburn Guide Hall has private off-street parking with a lockable gate. There are 31 spaces available, including 1 accessible parking space.

On-street parking is also available, but limited due to residential demand. 

Is the venue accessibility friendly?

This venue is ramp accessible.


Can we have a band or DJ play my event?

Yes, you can absolutely have a band or DJ play at your event. You are also welcome to entertain your guests by setting up your own speakers and playing your favourite playlist.  

Can we decorate the facility for our event?

The Craigieburn Guide Hall is a blank canvas that you can make your own by decorating the facility to suit your event or theme.

Permitted decorations include anything that is not fixed to the walls and will not damage the facility including: table decorations such as weighted balloon displays, flower arrangements, and any other items that can be affixed using non-marking adhesive such as blue tac.

Smoke machines, confetti cannons, candles, un-weighted helium balloons, and flammable materials such as hay bales are not permitted.

Can I have a jumping castle or animal farm at my event?

Absolutely - the Craigieburn Guide Hall is the perfect place to have a jumping castle or animal farm. There is a large open grass area available to both the side, and rear of the venue.

Approval and permits will apply, so please contact the bookings team for further information. 

Can I view the facility?

Yes, viewings can be arranged. Please contact the bookings team on 9356 6768 to book in a suitable time.
