Hume City Council has celebrated the outstanding contributions of local residents, volunteers and community groups at the 2026 Hume Community Awards, held on Thursday 20 August at Town Hall Broadmeadows.
The annual awards recognise individuals and organisations who go above and beyond to make a positive difference in their communities, helping to build a more connected, inclusive and vibrant Hume.
Every nominee and award recipient reflects the generosity, leadership and dedication that strengthen Hume City every day.
From mentoring young people and supporting vulnerable residents to championing cultural inclusion, environmental initiatives and grassroots community programs, this year's nominees embody the spirit of Hume and the power of community.
