Hume City Council, in partnership with the Australian Sports Commission (ASC), will be delivering an ASC Game Plan Information Session for Hume sporting clubs and associations on Monday 28 September at 6pm (Online)
ASC Game Plan is a free online club development platform designed to strengthen club capability, support continuous improvement, and assist clubs to create more inclusive and equitable sporting environments.
As part of the implementation of Hume's Fair Access Policy, clubs are encouraged to utilise the Game Plan Women & Girls Module, which provides a practical framework to assess current practices, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop actions that support greater participation and leadership opportunities for women, girls, and gender diverse people.
This session will include:
- An overview of Hume's Fair Access Policy and its implications for local sporting clubs.
- An introduction to the ASC Game Plan platform and the Women & Girls Module.
- The benefits of Game Plan, including how clubs can assess their current capability and performance in relation to gender equity.
- Guidance on completing the required modules and developing an action plan.
- Accessing practical resources, tools, and support to strengthen club development.
- Using Game Plan to inform future priorities, action plans, and investment decisions.
- A step-by-step guide to registering and getting started on the platform.
This workshop, facilitated by the Australian Sports Commission, will demonstrate how the Game Plan platform can support clubs to advance gender equity, strengthen club capability, and align with the objectives of Hume's Fair Access Policy.
