What we are doing 

This project will deliver an updated streetscape to Saleyard Lane in Sunbury.

The proposed works will include:

  • new pedestrian paths
  • improved lighting
  • landscape works including the removal and planting of new trees and creating new garden beds
  • street furniture
  • kerb, drainage and road surfacing improvements.

Construction is planned to commence in mid-to-late 2027.

Why are we doing these works?

The upgrade works are an investment by Council in the Sunbury township.

The works will significantly improve the streetscape as well as the vehicular and pedestrian access between Brook Street and the IGA car park at O'Shanassy Street.
