Fire Safety in Kalkallo - Free Community Information Session

Hume City Council and the Country Fire Association (CFA) invite you to a free community information session:

✅ How to get ready for the fire season

✅ How to keep your family and home safe from grassfires

✅ What to do if a grassfire starts near your area grassfires

✅ How to recognise emergency warnings.

Children are welcome to attend the event with their parent/caregiver.

• The CFA will give a presentation about how to prepare for grassfires and what you can do if a fire is near your home.
• If the weather is good, we will walk from Kalkallo Community Centre to a local grassland. The Kalkallo Fire Brigade will show you what to do if you come across a grassfire.
• There will also be a firetruck onsite and some other fun activities.
