‘I am a Digital (Lens based) Artist. I migrated to Australia from Scotland in 2009, embarking on a new life with different challenges and opportunities. Searching for a commonality with my home, I looked no further than the sky and landscape of Bulla and Victoria.
My inspiration is drawn from Mother Nature as she casts light and shade, much like we expose some of our traits and values as we settle into a new environment.
The work is about searching for a particular light, discovering interesting shades, colours and textures. The post-processing aspects of the work are given equal status and reveal (traits and values) more abstract layers for consideration.
