Stitched Up - Gardening Program - Sunbury

Come along to the Stitched Up Gardening Program where we will explore the process of growing leafy greens and herbs in portable growing spaces.

We’ll learn about the importance of creating a good growing habitat using compost, mulch and well-draining soil as well as managing pest plants and insects.

This program is designed around learning and creating, with each lesson feeding into activities that can be extended upon at home.

Thom Fox is an award-winning environmental educator and consultant specialising in facilitating hands-on engaging experiences with organics recycling. He is particularly passionate about the connections with nature through the food we consume.
