Talented Melbourne artist Jason Parker’s landmark mural at the Craigieburn Guide Hall is playfully designed to make use of the old brick surface on which the artwork is painted and the character of the local neighbourhood.
A much- loved Community Garden sits adjacent to the Guide Hall building, frequented by a healthy number of local growing enthusiasts - Craigieburn Community Garden - Hume City Council .
The space includes an indigenous garden within the space, showcasing a range of bush foods and specimen plants.
Jason’s highly original artwork features various giant fruits and vegetables as well as portrait- styled images of garden tools and gloves – making a vibrant and intensely colourful addition to the quiet residential area behind the busy Craigieburn Plaza.
