Football. Culture. Community. Celebrate the world game in the heart of Broadmeadows!
Join the excitement at the Festival of Football, bringing live World Cup action to Broadmeadows. Gather with friends, family and fellow fans to experience the energy of match day on the big screen.
Enjoy more than just the game, with a program featuring family movies on large screens, live music, food trucks, rock climbing wall, and other kid-friendly and community activities.
No tickets or registrations are required, just turn up!
Festival of Football is a dry family friendly community event supported by Youth Services. No alcohol is permitted within the event precinct.

What to expect:
- Live match screenings (1-2 screens depending on matches)
- Family friendly movies

FAQs
Do I need to register, and is it free to attend?
No registration is required—just come along and enjoy! This is a free event, although food and drinks will be available to purchase.
Can I bring my own chair or seating?
Yes, you’re welcome to bring your own picnic chairs or seating. There will also be a limited number of beanbags, picnic tables and low seating available on site.
Can I bring my own food and drinks?
Yes, you can bring your own food and beverages. There will also be a variety of food trucks available across the event days if you’d like to purchase something on site.
Will alcohol be available at the event?
No. The Festival of Football is a dry, family-friendly event, and alcohol is not permitted within the event area.
Will there be security at the event?
Yes. There will be onsite security for the duration of the event, along with local police.
