Melbourne Airport is inviting community feedback on two important planning initiatives: its draft Noise Sharing Plan and preliminary draft Master Plan 2027.

The draft Noise Sharing Plan outlines how aircraft noise would be managed across Melbourne when the airport's third runway becomes operational, while the preliminary draft Master Plan 2027 sets out Melbourne Airport's long-term vision for growth and development over the next 20 years.

Given Hume's proximity to Melbourne Airport, these consultations may be of particular interest to residents in Sunbury, Bulla, Diggers Rest and surrounding areas.

Melbourne Airport is encouraging residents, businesses and community groups to review the available information, attend information sessions and provide feedback as part of the consultation process. Both online and in-person sessions will be held throughout August, including sessions in Sunbury, Bulla and Diggers Rest.

Council is raising awareness of the consultations to ensure residents are informed about the opportunity to review the proposals and provide feedback to Melbourne Airport.
