An exhibition celebrating the beauty of roses through a bold series of acrylic paintings. The curves, shadows and sculptural quality of flowers have fascinated Vicki. In recent years, as a resident in Hume she has painted them to help manage the stresses of working in healthcare, endeavoring to capture the three-dimensional qualities of a large single rose through close observation and building up delicate layers of paint on canvas.
