It's a Christmas wish come true – Hume’s Carols by Candlelight is back in-person for the first time since 2019.

Hosted this year by four-time Logie Award winner Hugh Sheridan, the free event will take place at the Craigieburn Central Shopping Centre Car Park on Saturday 3 December from 7–9pm, with pre-entertainment activities from 5pm.

The flagship event of Christmas in Hume, Carols brings families and friends from across the City together to share in a range of festive performances and activities, including:

  • Meet-and-greets with PAW Patrol and Santa

  • An insta-worthy giant inflatable snow globe

  • Roving performances by Elf Twinkle Toes, Hazel the Amazing Christmas Elf and more!

  • Farmer Darryl’s animal farm – including Santa’s reindeer

  • Christmas craft workshops

  • Festive face painting

From 7pm, Carol-goers will be treated to live performances from PAW Patrol, Garth Ploog, Michaela Jayde, Jack Lyall and Hume’s own Kathy Hinch and Chantelle Defina.

There’ll be plenty of market stalls and local food vendors to choose from – including Curly Spuds, pizza, falafels, ice cream and more!

The night will conclude with a fireworks extravaganza just after 9pm.
