Public Toilet

What we're doing

As part of the Public Toilet Program, a new toilet will be installed in Barrymore Road Recreation Reserve in Greenvale, between the large shelter and the sports pavilion.

The new toilet will feature:

• automatic locking at night

• lighting

• an accessible unisex cubicle

• compliant disability access

• original exterior artwork.

Works will take place between 7am to 6pm, Monday to Friday. The project is due to be completed by late June 2026, weather permitting

Why we're doing it

Hume City Council has committed to providing accessible, high quality and safe toilets for the community through the creation of a Public Toilet Program. Access to these toilets will give more people in the community opportunities to enjoy Hume’s parks and open spaces.

When will it be completed?

Construction is scheduled to be completed by late June 2026. We'll keep you informed of additional new public toilet locations as we continue working through the program.
