Redwood Close Reserve Playspace Upgrade

What we're doing 

We're renewing the Redwood Close Reserve Playspace to include:

  • a play unit, swing set, rockers, play panel and climbing cube
  • new picnic table and seats
  • nature play activities
  • half sized multi-purpose court
  • futsal goals
  • tree planting and landscaping.

Why are we doing these works?

The existing playspace is 20 years old and in need of renewal. The upgrades will encourage local families to gather and enjoy the new facilities and space. 

When will works commence?

Works commenced in June and are due to be completed by mid-December 2025, weather permitting.  

Temporary fencing will be installed around the perimeter of the reserve and the playspace will be closed throughout the construction period. 

While the playspace is closed, an alternative playspace can be found nearby at Melaleuca Drive Reserve.
