We're undertaking renewal works at Lackenheath Drive Reserve in Tullamarine to include:
The renewal will provide a safe and connected open space environment and encourage local families to gather and enjoy the new facilities and space.
Works are planned to commence in early June 2026 and are due to be competed by late August 2026, weather permitting. Construction works will take place between 7am to 4pm, Monday to Friday.
Temporary fencing will be installed around the perimeter of the reserve and the playspace will be closed throughout the construction period. An alternative playspace can be found nearby at Tangemere Avenue Reserve.
We manage our works responsibly in line with project requirements by:
• keeping residents informed when work is happening nearby
• using clear signage
• securing worksites with fencing, barriers and safety measures
• monitoring and managing noise, dust and other construction impacts.
