We’ve upgraded Eric Boardman Memorial Reserve to improve sports facilities for clubs and participants. 

What we've done

After much anticipation we are excited to announce that the new and improved Eric Boardman Memorial Reserve is now open!

This project included upgrades to four pavilions, including social rooms, change rooms, kitchen facilities, the car park and new lighting for oval two. 

Why we've done it

Eric Boardman Memorial Reserve is widely used by the Sunbury community - in particular by the Sunbury Kangaroos Football Netball Club and the Sunbury Kangaroos Junior Football Netball Club. 

Despite record female participation, the local clubs based at the reserve had no purpose built female change rooms.

These upgrades will not only improve the current sporting facilities, but also make sure that every participant has the facilities they need.

When it was completed

Construction was complete in August 2022.
