What we did

• Replacement of main entrance doors to the centre
• Installation and construction of new exit doors to the front of the centre
• Upgraded of the existing family/accessible change rooms in the 25-metre pool area
• Replaced of all three corridor glass doors leading to the outdoor pools
• Upgraded ramp/walkway within the centre with a better gradient/slope
• Upgraded the entrance pathways to the centre
• Upgraded the crossing in Ligar Street
• Improvements for accessible street parking

Why we did it

We upgraded Sunbury Aquatic and Leisure Centre to improve access for all members and patrons.

When was the project completed

The upgrades were completed in July 2022, and the new entrance was opened early August 2022.
