What we did

The Vista Park Playspace has been renewed to provide a modern, accessible and engaging space for local families and visitors to enjoy.

The upgrade includes:

  • new play equipment, including a multi-play unit, climbing cube, swings, spinner and rocker
  • a half-sized basketball court
  • new shelter, picnic tables and seating
  • bike hoops
  • drinking fountain
  • new tree planting and landscaping.

Why we did it

The previous playspace was more than 20 years old and had reached the end of its useful life. This project is part of our Park Renewal Program and provides improved recreational opportunities for the community and creates a welcoming space where families can connect, play and spend time outdoors.

Project timeline

Construction commenced in February 2026 and was completed in June 2026.
