What we're doing

We're renewing the Vista Park Playspace in Sunbury to include:

  • new play equipment including a play unit, climbing cube, swings, a spinner and a rocker
  • half-sized basketball court
  • new shelter, picnic tables and seats
  • bike hoops
  • drinking fountain
  • tree planting and landscaping.

Why are we doing these works?

The existing playspace is 20 years old and in need of renewal. The upgrades will encourage local families to gather and enjoy the new facilities and space.

When will works commence?

Works are planned to commence in February 2026. The project is due to be competed by late May 2026, weather permitting.

Temporary fencing will be installed around the perimeter of the reserve and the playspace will be closed throughout the construction period.

While the playspace is closed, an alternative playspace can be found nearby at Spyglass Court Reserve.
