Cr Overend was elected to Hume City Council in 2020 and is honoured to be serving his second term for the newly named Burt-kur-min Ward. He has lived in Craigieburn for four decades and enjoys dedicating his time to helping his community prosper.
Cr Overend is enthusiastic about community safety, crime prevention, city appearance, and roads.
He is a committee member for Selwyn House - Craigieburn Education and Community Centre Inc., and an honorary member of the Craigieburn Rotary Club.
Cr Overend is also the organiser of the Craigieburn Car, Truck and Bike Show raising funds for the Isabella and Marcus Foundation supporting children with brain cancer.
