Looking for a free, fun, and nature‑filled family activity? Help restore a native grassland reserve in Craigieburn. Pizzas for lunch!

You’re invited to be part of a community planting to help restore a precious native grassland reserve beside Aitken Creek. Participants will plant native grasses and wildflowers that are essential to the health of this unique ecosystem.

Native grasslands are one of Australia’s most threatened ecosystems, and this reserve provides vital habitat for the endangered Golden Sun Moth, as well as many other native bees, butterflies, lizards, frogs, and birds. By planting locally appropriate species, this event will help rebuild wildlife habitat, improve biodiversity, and strengthen the resilience of the natural environment for generations to come.

Join us in caring for this special place and making a meaningful contribution to protecting our local natural heritage.

The grassland is located opposite from the houses, numered 16 to 28 Spirited Circuit, Craigieburn. Here is a Google Map link: https://maps.app.goo.gl/zkKPvhHF5JLn212G9
