Major Road Projects Victoria will temporarily close the intersection of Mickleham and Craigieburn Roads for two months as part of works to upgrade Craigieburn Road.

From 11pm, Sunday 13 February to 5am, Monday 11 April, motorists are being advised to use the Hume Highway or use Aitken Boulevard to access Mt Ridley Road and Somerton Road during the closure ).

This is required to build new lanes on Mickleham Road and upgrade the roundabout to a traffic light system.

Crews will also remove and upgrade drainage, install underground equipment and connections for new traffic lights, build new lanes, install new kerbs and build new walking and cycling paths in this time.

The Craigieburn Road project is being undertaken by the Victorian Government and will include upgraded intersections, better walking, cycling and public transport connections, and extra lanes between Hume Highway and Mickleham Road.
