Victorian Bar Foundation Student Achievement Award

The Victorian Bar Student Achievement Award is a youth recognition award for academic achievement in Legal Studies, sponsored by the Victorian Bar Foundation and Hume City Council. The award is open to secondary schools in Hume and provides a grant of $1,500 to the highest achiever in Legal Studies Units 1 & 2 who is enrolled in Legal Studies Units 3 & 4 in the year the prize is awarded.

 

Victorian Bar Student Achievement Award

This $1500 award is presented to the student who:

  • Achieves the highest grade in Legal Studies Units 1 & 2 and studying Legal Studies Unit 3 & 4.
  • Demonstrates respect, collaboration and a willingness to engage.

Achievement Award students are invited to Victorian Bar Foundation Award Night held in the CBD and to an Experience Day in the CBD where they get to explore High Court and/or Supreme Court, hear from Justice Gordon and meet barristers. 

Victorian Bar Student Encouragement Award

This award is presented to the student who demonstrates: 

  • Ongoing commitment to Legal Studies. 
  • Respect, collaboration and a willingness to engage. 

Encouragement Award students are invited to an Experience Day in the CBD where they get to explore High Court and/or Supreme Court, hear from Justice Gordon and meet barristers.
