What we’ve done

We've completed improvements to Lawson Street Reserve in Sunbury, which include the following:

  • New play equipment including multi-age combination unit, swing set, two seat rocker and a mini car.
  • Improved paths and connections across the reserve.
  • New park bench seat, picnic setting and shelter.
  • Improved landscaping.

Why we did it

This previous space was in need of a refresh, and this project is an important upgrade in improving facilitation of activities in a safe and inclusive environment, while reflecting the diversity of the community.

When was it completed?

These works commenced in March 2025 and were completed in July 2025.
