Aitken Hill Community Centre

This centre is currently open for MCH appointments only.

Aitken Hill Community Centre in Craigieburn is a welcoming place to learn something new, meet with friends, host something exciting, and access community services.

With modern state-of-the-art facilities, the centre is designed to support and strengthen the Craigieburn community.

The centre offers:

• Preschool rooms
• Maternal and Child Health consulting rooms
• Consulting rooms - visiting services
• Training room with laptops and audiovisual equipment
• Multipurpose community meeting rooms for hire with TVs
• Semi commercial kitchen with automatic dishwasher
• Reception area staffed by Facility Administrator and volunteers
• Welcoming gathering space for informal meetings within the centre
• Covered courtyard with BBQ
• Immunisation sessions
• Free Wi-Fi.

Capacity limits are based on the Victorian Government's roadmap to reopening.

• Can be divided into two separate sections with movable walls to accommodate smaller meetings
• Floor to ceiling windows looking out to accessible lawn area
• New and modern tables and chairs
• All vinyl floor suitable for activities including dancing/exercise

• Audio visual screen and laptops
• Free Wi-Fi
• Hearing Loop
• Accessible kitchen servery into main meeting room
• Accessible toilets with baby changing facilities
• Heating and cooling system
• On-site parking available including loading and disabled parking
• Storage for regular users - subject to availability
• Combined meeting rooms capacity maximum 120 people.

• Full size industrial oven with six gas burner hotplate and separate grill
• Industrial quick dishwasher
• Built-in tap boiling water unit
• Microwave
• Large stainless steel benches
• Large fridge
• Crockery and cutlery
• Limited kitchen equipment
• Storage for regular users - subject to availability.

Training room

• Whiteboard
• Plasma TV and laptop suitable for presentations
• Tables and office chairs for 20 people
• Storage for regular users - subject to availability.

Consulting rooms

• Carpeted space
• Office desk and chairs for 2 people
• Cupboards (lockable) and benchtops
• Waiting area for customers/clients
• Heating and cooling
• Tables and chairs available.

Venue Capacity

The four square metre rule applies to the room capacity numbers based on the Victorian Government's roadmap to reopening. Combined Meeting Rooms - maximum capacity of 20 people (four square metre rule applies).
