Broadmeadows Community Hub Management Transition

Hume City Council is working with Dallas Neighbourhood House, who will transition to management of the Hub before 1 July 2026. Dallas Neighbourhood House is a local community organisation experienced in delivering programs and activities for residents of Broadmeadows.

We know how much the Hub means to our community, and Council has made the decision to transition management to Dallas Neighbourhood House with that in mind. A Council decision was made to transition in October 2025, following a community petition from Dallas Neighbourhood House in July 2025.

This transition will build on the work Council has already done to establish the Hub, with Dallas Neighbourhood House well placed to strengthen local partnerships, continue supporting programs and services, and deliver a more community-led approach to activities that benefit local groups and residents.

Broadmeadows Community Hub is open and fully operational and all current bookings, fees, and hire conditions remain unchanged at this point in time.

In the lead-up to the transition, Council will work with Dallas Neighbourhood House to help ensure the Hub continues to be accessible and welcoming for the community. Any changes related to the transition will be communicated clearly and well in advance.

Further updates about the transition will be provided in early 2026. For further information, you can contact Hume City Council at 03 9356 6160 or BCHBookings@hume.vic.gov.au or Dallas Neighbourhood House at 03 9302 2131 or manager@dallasnh.org.au.
