The Sunbury Community Garden, also known as the Goonawarra Community Garden, is one of the Hume Council’s four community gardens. The garden has eighteen individual plots along with communal plots. There is also an orchard with approximately 50 fruit trees with some heritage varieties.

Membership is free and garden members meet on a regular basis for various activities.  Even if you do not have an official plot to call your own, many other events and workshops are regularly held.

Members love to connect with other passionate gardeners and people interested in heritage fruit trees, bush tucker and growing food.

You must attend a garden visit before you can book a plot. All memberships are available at no cost.

Sunbury Community Garden is a member of Community Gardens Australia.
