Campbellfield Community Centre has three areas within the facility for hire. This facility comprises of an alcove and main hall attached to a catering kitchen servery, meeting room and function space. This unique facility has a fenced courtyard area with a BBQ, ideal for entertaining family and friends on a warm, sunny weekend.

Venue Capacity

The four square metre rule applies to the room capacity numbers based on the Victorian Government's roadmap to reopening.

Main Hall - Maximum of 23 people

Meeting Room - Maximum of 11 people

Office - Maximum of 2 people 

Alcove - Maximum of 14 people 

Kitchen - Maximum of 5 people

 FAQs

What is provided as part of the facility hire?

Furniture

Tables and chairs are provided for each bookable space. They are kept in the store room, and can be set up to suit your requirements, whether you are hosting a meeting, class or function.

The trestle tables are rectangular in shape, and are 1.82m x 0.74m in size. For exact quantities please contact the bookings team.

Kitchen

This facility has a fully functioning kitchen, and has everything you need to caterer for your booking in terms of appliances.

Equipment includes and oven and cooktop, hotbox to keep your food warm until serving time, urn, fridge and dishwasher.

It also has an outdoor courtyard with a BBQ, making it the perfect facility for outdoor parties during a warm summer night.

Please note: Kitchens are available for reheating purposes only, and cooking from raw ingredients is not permitted at this location.

Furthermore utensils such as cutlery, crockery, glassware and oven trays are not provided.

Heating/Cooling

This facility has central cooling and wall bank heaters throughout the venue, and therefore can be used all year round

 

Is there parking available?

The Campbellfield Community Centre has an exclusive gated parking ground with over 40 parking spots as well as accessible parking close to the front entrance.

Street parking is also available if required.

Is the facility accessibility friendly?

Absolutely, the facility is fully accessibility friendly.

Can we have a band or DJ play my event?

Yes, you absolutely can have a band or DJ play at your event, or set up speakers and let your playlist entertain your guests.

However, please be mindful that this facility is within a residential area and amplified music is therefore not permitted.

Can we decorate the facility for our event?

The Campbellfield Community Centre is a blank canvas that you can make your own by decorating the facility to suit your event or theme.

Permitted decorations include anything that is not fixed to the walls, and does not damage the facility including table decorations such waited helium balloons or non-helium balloons, flower arrangements, and other items using non-marking adhesive such as blue-tac.

Smoke machines, flammable materials such as hay bales, candles, helium balloons and confetti cannons are not permitted.

Can I have a jumping castle or animal farm at my event?

This facility is right next to a park with a playground, and is in a great location if you are looking to have a jumping castle or animal farm at your event.

Permits and approval is required, contact the bookings team for more information.
