Melbourne Cup public holiday operating hours

Some of our services will be impacted or closed due to the upcoming public holiday on Tuesday 4 November.

Customer Service Centres will be closed.
You can still report issues online and contact our after-hours service on 9205 2200 if there is an emergency. 

Waste collection will continue as normal.

Leisure Centres will be open with reduced hours from 8am - 5pm.

Tips/Resource Recovery Centres will be open from 8am - 4pm.

Hume Libraries will be closed.
If you need to make a return, you can do so via the after-hours return chutes at the Broadmeadows, Craigieburn and Sunbury libraries. 

Hume Global Learning Centres will be closed.

Community Centres will be closed.

Youth Centres will be closed.

Early Years Services including Maternal and Child Health, Kindergarten and long day care will be closed.

Animal, wildlife and pest control services will operate with a reduced capacity from Saturday 1 November to Wednesday 5 November.
