Communications during the 2024 Local Government Council election

Our communications will look a little different during the 2024 Local Government Council election period.

All material published to our social media channels, including comments on posts, will be moderated to avoid any breaches of the Local Government Act 2020.

This means:

• comments across Facebook will be manually reviewed for adherence to the Act before becoming public
• comments across new posts on Instagram will be turned off for adherence to the Act
• new content on LinkedIn and Twitter will be limited for adherence to the Act.

These changes will be in place from noon Tuesday 17 September to Monday 28 October 2024.
